Luggage Sale

Samsonite is the name that comes up most on Amazon.com, alongside brands such as American Tourister, Travelpro and Delsey. You will find hardside spinners in polycarbonate or ABS, softside expandable cases, underseat bags, garment bags and multi-piece sets.

For carry-on, many US airlines accept bags up to about 22 x 14 x 9 inches including wheels and handles, but limits vary, so measure against your airline's rules. Spinners with four double wheels glide through airports; two-wheel rollers handle curbs and cobblestones better. Keep an eye on empty weight, since a heavy suitcase eats into your checked-bag allowance, and a TSA-accepted lock is handy for US travel. Polycarbonate flexes under impact, while softside cases usually add exterior pockets and expansion.

Luggage prices tend to fall on Prime Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when sets and spinners are widely promoted. Deals also appear before summer travel and when a brand refreshes a collection with new colors, leaving older ones to be cleared.

In any luggage sale, compare today's price with the list price the retailer shows and check which size and color is reduced – a discount on the carry-on does not always extend to the checked size. For sets, count what is included. Marketplace sellers can be cheaper, but check the warranty, since brand warranties may only cover purchases from authorized sellers.

The discount shown here is not our own math: it is the difference between today's price and the list price the retailer itself displays. If there is no list price, we show no percentage – better no discount than an invented one. The page updates automatically; prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears instead of lingering as an expired deal.

Salewunder is funded by affiliate links: if you buy through a link here, we earn a commission. It does not change your price, and what gets listed is decided by the discount, not the commission.
