The practical tip with Olaplex is to buy the steps that get used up fastest. No. 3 and the No. 4/5 shampoo and conditioner are consumed at a much higher rate than the No. 7 oil, which lasts months on a few drops — so a modest cut on a large shampoo is usually worth more in real dollars than a bigger one on the oil. Also watch the liter and value sizes of No. 4 and No. 5, which frequently beat the standard bottles per ounce. Because Olaplex is a heavily counterfeited brand, buying from a seller you recognize matters as much as the price.
Haircare in the US moves most on Amazon's July Prime Day and its October event, then again over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when the multi-product bundles and holiday kits are cut hardest. January clearance mops up what is left of the gift packaging.
