NETGEAR deals

Netgear on Amazon.ca is networking hardware: Nighthawk routers and Wi-Fi 6 and 7 models, Orbi mesh systems sold as a router with one or more satellites, cable modems and modem-router combinations, range extenders, unmanaged and Plus switches, and the Nighthawk mobile hotspots. Which of those are reduced changes regularly, and this page only shows the position at the last price check.

The advice that saves the most money here concerns modems. If you are with a Canadian cable provider, buying your own compatible modem instead of renting one usually pays for itself within a year or two, but compatibility is provider-specific and must be checked against your own operator's approved list before you buy. On mesh, count the satellites: Orbi kits are sold in several configurations under similar names, and the price difference is the satellite, not the technology.

Networking gear in Canada is discounted most sharply during Amazon's October event and the Black Friday to Cyber Monday stretch, with Prime Day in July the reliable mid-year window. Back-to-school in August brings a smaller round of cuts on extenders and entry-level routers as households add capacity.

Netgear does not run outlet stores in Canada; it sells direct alongside retailers. The reductions typically appear on the previous Wi-Fi generation once the newer standard is mainstream, on Orbi kits with fewer satellites, and on model numbers being run out. Canadian availability is thinner than the American catalogue, so an older Nighthawk or Orbi can remain listed here well after it has been replaced elsewhere, and that is often where the cuts land.

The discount shown here is not our own math: it is the difference between today's price and the list price the retailer itself displays. If there is no list price, we show no percentage – better no discount than an invented one. The page updates automatically; prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears instead of lingering as an expired deal.
